Kalmar Camping – Läckeby (Rafshagsudden) is located 15 minutes north of Kalmar on a peninsula in the beautiful nature. The most important thing for us is good cooperation/team spirit where we work together to exceed expectations and enhance our guests' experience.

We are now looking for 10 fantastic employees for our summer team for the 2026 season (June-September).

Job Responsibilities:

As a campsite host, you will have various tasks that all focus on providing our camping guests and day visitors with fantastic service every day. Great emphasis is placed on customer service and being able to assist in multiple scenarios. The job requires you to communicate fluently in English and Swedish when interacting with guests.

Reception/Shop/Café – This includes reception work with check-in and check-out of guests, rental of kayaks, cash handling, serving ice cream/coffee as well as dishes and drinks from our bistro located on-site. Cleaning is done continuously in the serving areas and the restaurant's indoor/outdoor seating, as well as handling dishes. The booking program is the heart of our camping operations and is used in almost everything we do. Therefore, you need to have good computer skills and be able to work efficiently in the system while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor towards guests.

Bistro – Here you will be involved in cooking in Kalmar Camping's bistro where we serve a varied menu such as pizzas, fish 'n chips, salads, burgers, etc., as well as cleaning/washing dishes in the kitchen.

Cleaning Staff – As part of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in our various service buildings and other areas, ensuring they always meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Your attention to detail and care will enhance our guests' experience, and you are key to ensuring our destinations remain places that guests want to return to.

We are looking for individuals who are:

Service-oriented towards the camping guests, accustomed to a fast-paced environment, organized and flexible in your work approach, and able to handle stress during peak times. You are engaged, responsible, solution-oriented, and accommodating. We place great emphasis on being outgoing and cheerful towards customers.

You must be able to travel to and from the campsite, sometimes at short notice as shifts can vary depending on the weather. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement as we have many foreign guests; other languages are a plus. The position requires you to be at least 18 years old due to working hours, responsibilities, and potential alcohol service.

Preferred qualifications: experience working in a campsite or similar business, experience in the service industry, booking programs, cash handling, kitchen experience, handy with practical tasks to solve problems that may arise at the campsite. Education in service, tourism, or educational fields.

Salary: Hourly wage according to individual agreement, vacation pay is added, and no overtime compensation is provided.

Working Hours: Work shifts are scheduled within the time frame of 06:00–22:00 and vary depending on the work area and the needs of the business.
